I am preparing to apply to law school; what steps should I take next?

The prelaw advisor meets with both seniors and juniors to discuss preparation plans for applying to law school. Juniors should plan to meet with the prelaw advisor in the fall (must have attended a pre-law orientation), and then again in the senior year as needed. Click here to review the application timelines for juniors and seniors and find out the pros and cons of each LSAT test administration date.

Students who have not yet attended an orientation with the exception of seniors and alumni must do so to be eligible to schedule an appointment with the pre-law advisor. Orientation sessions are offered each fall and spring semester.

Students should also join the pre-law listserv to receive e-mail communications from the office. You may also like the Facebook page to receive news and information.
