Resource Library

The Pre-Professional Advising Office has a Resource Library for students who are interested in looking over or checking-out exam study materials.  Books can be checked-out for two-weeks at a time.  Books that have not been checked-out can be found in our Study Rooms.  Students who have reserved a Study Room are welcome to use any of the available books during their stay.

Check-Out Procedure

A list of all of our books can be found here.  To check-out a book, please email Mandy Skinner with the following information from your UGA email.

  • Your Full Name
  • Your 81#
  • Name and listing number of the book(s) you would like to check-out.

Ms. Skinner will send you a confirmation email to let you know when the book is available for pick-up at the front desk on the first floor of Memorial Hall.  You can only pick-up books during regular business hours (M-F 8:00am-5:00pm).

If you are interested in checking-out resources, please read over the policies and procedures below.  By checking-out a resource, you are agreeing to adhere to all of the policies and to pay the fine for overdue or damaged goods if applicable.

Returning Checked-Out Items

You can return any items you have checked-out to the front desk of Memorial Hall during regular business hours.

Overdue Item Policy

For any item that is not returned on the appropriate due date:

  1. A hold will be placed on your student account until the item is returned.
  1. If an item is more than 10 days past due, you will be required to pay the total cost of the item.

Damaged Item Policy

If an item is returned damaged, you will be charged the price of the item.  Damage can be defined as the following:

  1. Writing/highlighting/markings on or inside the resource
  2. Pages torn
  3. Pages folded
  4. Damage to the outside covers (ripped, missing, etc.)

**The Pre-Professional Advising Office reserves the right to add to this list without warning or notice to the student.**

Donating Items

The Pre-Professional Advising Offices welcomes any donations of study materials for the LSAT, MCAT, DAT, OAT, GRE, TEAS, and HESI..  Any donated items will be made available for other students to check-out.

If you would like to make a donation, please drop off the items at the front desk of Memorial Hall.
